"Rainy Day Dos:" This CD offers activities for those rain-filled days, or any day. Just put in in your CD player and listen for the instructions. Songs include "Wilbur," a tribute to Wilbur Wright where the children mimic the sound of an old fashioned air plane, and a clean up activity song that encourages classroom/home participation when things need to be picked up. An expanded version of just this song is available too. Just ask for "Activity Tape #1," or CD. "Rainy Day Dos" is $18, including shipping. "MILLIE SONGS:" Those who have had Ken shows and activities know he has a better half. If you wish to know more about this all too silent partner in Ken's business and life you may wish to purchase this CD. Besides he's given it away to all his relatives and the bank is banging on his door! Seriously, 14 songs written over the past 30 years by Ken all for Millie. This is not some Music Row-y, Hollywood glitz production but a handmade CD by Ken, his guitar and guitar effects. Yes,those are almost ALL guitars doing that! Only $18 shipped.
Ken has three other albums on CD: "Twitchell Lake Lullabies," "The Carman Family Album;" which includes and interview with my late Grandmother who died short after the interview in 1990 (Oh, boy, hope my interviewing skills weren't that bad), and "Rhythm and Hues." "Twitchell" and "Rythmn" are GREAT for nap time and mostly just music: few lyrics. Nap time tapes/CDs can also be CUSTOM made for YOUR center and YOUR children. This is NOT your typical nap time music but specially made, and specifically made, for you and your nappers: especially the roll around on the cot-ters, wander arounds, stand on head with rear end up in the air ones and, of course, noisy nappers. If you work with children or would just like to know more about the nation's preschools from someone who works over 300 schools a year this is a fun and very informative book! Also there is a book with very short stories, poems, Trek spoofs, mini novellas... I'd mention the very creative name of the yet to be published book, but having been in the music industry I know how vultures love to swoop down and rip apart creative stuff: stealing what they like and the claiming it was their own idea. (If you're one of these soul-less hacks... SHAME.)
